"When you build a bridge, you insist that it can carry 30,000 pounds, but you only drive 10,000-pound trucks across it. And that same principle works in investing." - Warren Buffett
Why do I always build 30000 pound bridges when I know I would probably run a 35000 pound truck across it ! Seems that I somehow underestimated the 35000 to be 3500 and then showed off by building a bridge capable of 30000 pounds ...... and in the end got xxxxxed ! What do I do ? Maybe use a safety factor of 12 instead of 10 ? Haha!
